This story came over written as a typical news story, but I thought it would be better represented as an infographic, so I broke the story into paragraphs and gave each of those a different subhead and then came up with illustrations using Adobe Illustrator that would be a good representation for each point. I did this in one day’s time, on top of some other sections, but it was well worth the effort because the story was a lot more compelling laid out this way than it would have with just a stock image.
